I'm Leslye, the NOLA girl behind Sugarberry photography. As a self-taught photographer, I'm always hoping to grow in my craft and have new experiences. I seek to capture elements that have a story, whether historical or personal. New Orleans, especially, has so many ways that it make it unique from any other city.
I like brilliant colors but also strong black and white photographs. Most of my pieces are printed on metallic photographic paper that has a lasting impact. Needing a change, I started adding a watercolor process using digital brushes to my photography. Each piece is worked on individually - sometimes for days. This new process has been a great creative outlet for me!
I really enjoy vending at markets and festivals. I've had great opportunities to be a vendor at Festival International, Harrison Ave Market, Freret Market, and more. I am so excited for future opportunities.
My work is in different offices in New Orleans and in Metairie. I've also worked corporate parties with my prints as gifts. Need work to enhance your workspace or event? Need a photographer for your band's event?
